Photo upload form
If you would like to share photos, you may submit them via this form. We invite you to do so especially for species that don’t yet have a file. This will enable us to continue increasing the size of the database. You will be credited for each photo you upload.Thank you for your participation !
Conditions for all images posted via this form:
- the Underwater observers network receives only partial rights for the image:
- will not be used for commercial gain,
- will only be used for promotional purposes with the authorization of the owner,
- will never be posted at a resolution higher than 600 pixels (width or height) without the permission of the owner.
- The Underwater observers network will:
- when the image is presented on the website at a resolution of over 200 pixels, the credit your entered will be placed on the photo,
- will give your contact information to anyone who wishes to purchase image rights for your photo(s).
- Underwater observers network will not:
- use all photos submitted.
- The Underwater observers network reserves the right to:
- modify photos if they need cropping or adjustments for luminosity, contrast, white balance, etc.,
- remove a photo or change the order of presentation.
- The use of a photo – if chosen – will be limited to posting:
- on the website of Underwater observers network,
- in a species list provided free of charge to other websites (for more details, click on this link).
- You agree to:
- be the author of the image, or you have the permission of the author/photographer to post the image on this website,
- not hold the Underwater observers network responsible if one of your photos is copied via the website of the Underwater observers network and used by a third party without your permission.
